It has been on our hearts for some time to be able to give God’s Word to the Bnei Menashe – a people group in North East India, who claim to be descendants of the lost tribes of Israel. Now it is coming to pass! We hope to provide at least 7,000 of The Prophets Speak in the Mizo language. The book will be given to Bnei Menashe people in this region and also be used to teach the churches about God’s promises to the Jews.
Reaching Israelis on the Beaches of Goa, India
Every year 50,000 to 60,000 young Israeli tourists come to India – many to Goa. They come after completing their military service, searching for a spiritual experience through Hinduism and Yoga. But some are now finding Yeshua!
God miraculously put us in touch with a group of
young Indian people who are on fire for Jesus
and reaching young Israelis with the Gospel. I’d
like to introduce you to Andrew – the leader of
one of the teams. He was already in full time
ministry in a different part of India but God called
him and his wife to move to Goa to reach the
Jewish people there. He didn’t act on the call
until he began having sleepless nights and God
reminded him of his call to the Jews. He
remembered Esther and how God would have
found someone else if she had remained silent.
But then, her own family would have perished.
Andrew started to fast and again God clearly
said: “Go to Goa and I will use you and bless you there.” He faced a lot of opposition from his family but today he is a bold evangelist on the beaches of Goa, seeing first-hand how Israelis are finding Yeshua! Andrew says, “Most Israelis are receptive. They come to Goa for a holiday and a good time but it quickly comes out that they are spiritually hungry and seeking for answers.”
We want to respond to the needs of Andrew’s team and others doing a similar work among Israelis in India by providing The Prophets Speak in Hebrew!
Pray for our small staff at MediaServe: for patience, peace and joy of the Lord in our work. Please pray for divine protection on the ministry especially as we embark on new projects into new countries.
