Many Christians in Nepal are first and second-generation believers, coming from Hindu and Buddhist families. Teaching the Bible is vital for them to grow and mature in the Lord and also to help them to stand against false teaching. MediaServe has provided 25,000 copies of The Gate to Life (basic Bible teaching) to churches in Nepal. As we met with Christian leaders, some overseeing thousands of people and having planted numerous churches, we were told time and again how they had been praying for material to help them teach the believers. These Christian leaders were new contacts for us. One pastor who has planted 110 churches over the past 20 plus years told us: “We have been praying for material to teach our people. You have come to help us with exactly what we need! Thank you!”
