Frequently Asked Questions
Who receives the Bibles and the tools for evangelism and discipleship training that you provide?
MediaServe is connected with local churches and church planting groups in the countries where we work. It is through them that the literature is provided to individual people. The initiative for outreach and programs lies with the local churches. Our role is to support their vision by providing God’s Word and tools for effective follow up. The relationships with the partners we have in each country have been developed over many years, even decades, as the founders of MediaServe have been in literature ministry for about 50 years.
How do you follow up on location?
Our partners in each country report back to us on how the literature has been used and how people’s lives have been impacted. Our staff also visits various locations to understand the needs and evaluate the effectiveness of the literature and the ways it has been used.
How do you finance your projects?
We invite other organisations to partner with us in the projects that are in the pipeline. We also receive gifts from churches, businesses, foundations and individual people.
What are your overheads?
Over several years of ministry the overheads have varied between 10 -15%.
